Here at West Heights, we are focused on being a multi-generational church with an intentional focus on families. We take seriously the call for the parents to disciple their own children at home as well as every day (Deuteronomy 6, Ephesians 6, Colossians 3, and other passages) and we are here to team up with parents as they do that. We do that by giving Biblically sound teaching in all areas of West Heights, including in the preschool, children, and youth areas. We also strive to communicate what we teach the kids with the parents to help with discussion at home. From Sunday morning worship service to Sunday school to Wednesday night activities to Sunday night activities to many other events throughout the year we want to see parents engaged with the kids as early and as often as possible. Our prayer is to point each child and family to Jesus and our need for Him. We would also love to see the parents be discipled and make disciples first at home with their own family and then continue that with the other people that the Lord places around them.
