Help us at the Christmas Parade

This year, we will be entering into the Pontotoc Christmas Parade again by sharing our cardboard testimonies.

How you can help:

1 Pray for our team!

2 We would also like you to consider walking with us.

Has Jesus Christ changed your life?

We would love to have you join us. West Heights will be walking as a group in the Pontotoc Christmas parade, carrying poster boards (cardboard) that have written on them a short sentence or a few words about how Christ has changed things for us.

There will be blank poster boards and markers on a table in the fellowship hall this coming Sunday, November 30th. Feel free to grab one and write. You are welcome to do them at home as well.

You can also use your own, or maybe you have one from a year in the past. That is all great.

We will be assemblying in the parade staging area around 5:30pm on Monday night.

The staging area this year will be next to First Baptist on Green Street.

Meet us there!

1 day mission trip to Coldwater-Redemption Church

We will leave this Saturday, October 25 from the church parking lot at 9:00 am to drive to Redemption Church in Coldwater, MS. We will be canvasing several neighborhoods with flyers for Redemption’s upcoming fall festival.

The plan is to work from 10:30am to 12:30pm and then have lunch with Pastor Sam Henderson in Senatobia before returning to Pontotoc. Hoping to be back in Pontotoc by 4:30pm to 5:00pm.

You will only need money for lunch.

Please contact Casey Russell at 662-419-4859 if you are interested in going with us.

Supplies for Texas Flood Victims

A truck will be leaving this week from Pontotoc, headed to take supplies to the victims of the devastating flooding in the Kerrville/Hunt Texas area. West Heights Baptist will host a 3 day drop-off for supplies. We will have this drop-off available until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 16.

Items being requested are pop-top cans of meats, vegetables, or fruits. Allen Maxey is heading up the drop-off. He will be boxing it up on Wednesday and delivering it to the truck that will be located at the Pontotoc County Ag-Center.

If you have questions, or would like to help Allen deliver the food, contact him at 662-308-1052.
